Who we are

We are a local church for Ruscote, Hardwick and Hanwell Fields in Banbury – a partnership of a shared Church of England, Methodist and United Reformed congregation and a Roman Catholic congregation who join together in worship and mission. Our worship varies according to the traditions of the leading ministers and congregation. As members in Christ and of our wider church denominations we share these core values in the way we do church and mission together: Hospitality, Commitment, Learning, Worship & Prayer, Community and Diversity. Mission is primarily sharing the love and good news of Jesus which for us involves some of the following:

Every Sunday 10:30 is children friendly which means we have planned activities, toys, snacks and friendly flexibility to make sure children have a great and prayerful time either ‘Cafe’ style, where children remain in church throughout, activities and refreshments included or Holy Communion or Morning Worship with Children’s Church in the hall. After Children’s church the children come back into the church for communion. For Roman Catholic Mass information see Banbury Catholic Churches.

We gather for Morning prayer weekdays from 9:00am to pray for our world and community.

On Tuesdays at 10am we have a reflective Communion.

We run a variety of community events such as Drop in, the Encounter Coffee Mornings, Kids Club, St Francis Tots, Youth Group, and we offer a warm welcome for Christenings, Weddings
