Today is Palm Sunday, what was it like that day only 5 days before Jesus died? Did the people taking part in those celebrations see it as a march for peace or a march for war? Perhaps either way they were celebrating out of the hope of liberation. While we long for peace today we must take to heart that what matters is not just peace but how the peace is won. As war and rumours of war escalating abound. May peace come, not be by means of further violence but by means of grace, mercy and forgiveness.
